Happy Men's Day! Can you not cry for the millions? Are your tears dry as newsprint?

Men's Day? Can't say I've heard of that before.

BTW Thanks for the recipe you sent ages and ages ago. Can't remember if I ever thanked you. Not even sure now if you sent me a recipe.

Hi Roger! How were the travels? The holiday was called the day of the Soviet Army in former times but now we just call it Men's Day. You're welcome for the recipe! I'll look for one of my old favorites, the sailor's delight, pears in port. If I can find it I'll send it to you or post it.
