To my students from the University:

Please feel free to enjoy this Blog. You are welcome to enjoy what I have written or taken pictures of and feel free to leave comments. To do the latter, however, you will have to sign up for blogger (just click on the button in the grayish brown bar above and to the right that says: “GET YOUR OWN BLOG”). It is free and I encourage you to do so. If this is new to you, welcome to the world of the blog!

I'm glad to see another professor welcoming students to Blogland. I have a few readers, but none commenting as of yet.

Yeah jpd, they're good kids but a little shy, I guess. I hope they soon grow beyond curiosity and get actively crazy like some bloggers I know (not mentioning any names though)!

What are you teaching?
How groovy!
I'm enjoying your musings very much, thank you for sharing them!

I teach business writing, conversational English (in ESL) and they have asked me to lecture in English literature and perhaps poetry.

I also teach essay writing, GRE, and GMAT. Last Year I even tutored Milton (Paradise Lost). That was a lot of fun (I'm almost ashamed to admit that).
