wolf pups

no rage only passion
from mothers dance
no milk only passion
as mother dances around us

she dances around brother now
he barely raises his head
and is dead

she dances with me
am i to die
ill be stronger next time

WOW!
That is such a powerful poem, and then last line, it really really moved me. I am so honoured that my poem inspired such a beautiful peice of poetry!! ;-)

Thank you for linking me in your blog!
Once I figure out how to do mine, I will link you too.

Thanks for the kind words! The theme is pretty dark and it makes the poem a little uncomfortable to read but, even so, I felt there was something elemental in it about how we feel as children. I sensed it from reading your poem and wanted to go directly at it. A little, as Laura (Poet's Tea) puts it, shameless and nearly outright theft (if one can steal themes). She did a lovely rendition of one of Gama's poetic themes just recently on her blog.
