That is a hard boiled egg with a shrink to fit plastic decoration on it (which you buy and slip over the egg while still hot). The letters are, of course, in cyrilic and stand for Khristos Voskhrees (which translates to Christ is risen). Glad you enjoyed the pic, Gama!
