Hi gama! Thanks, she's a real sweetheart. All she does is giver her love and keep me company but I'd be lost without her! Good luck getting a dog!

She is so beautiful. She looks so peaceful. Like she's smiling. At you?
Hugs.

Hi niki! When I first got her five years or so ago, I noticed she could smile. I'd never seen that in a dog before. Big hugs to you too (and Cheena sends a warm lick with a lot of tail wags)!

hi Russell, your Cheena and hellophotokitty's Zoe warmed up my heart - i realized i need someone like these wonderful creatures close to me too ...

Your dog has an air of sofistication, we have the orriginal mad dog very loveable but completely barking.

Russell, those words are not nice ;), hope you didn't mean to thank saby for this, only for the first part.
salute!

Of course, Sue! We read Chaucer together in the original Middle English. Cheena is currently teaching Milton (Paradise Lost) at a local university. She is also the orriginal 'lick your fingers' poetess!

Hi Russel, So no exploring the contents of the bin then or the tender fragrence odor de fox poo. Your dog I mean, glad I spotted that before I sent it.

Russell Ragsdale said...

Sue, eau de fox poo is not a problem! We had a rainy day here, while I was enjoying your new poem!

What a gorgeous dog! You know, I wish we could fit one in with our three cats, lol!

Thanks jpd! Cheena (the dog) is a sweetheart! Her best friend is Charley. He is my cat. I've never seen a dog and cat have such a close relationship before. so, sometimes it works out between dogs and cats. Good luck and nice to hear from you!

Nice to hear from you Russell, our dog gets on with two of our cats but cleo and he dislike one another with a passion. It's all her, (The cat) fault though he used to try and be friends, he was just too entusiastic for her (being a rather queenly snooty type she doesn't aprove of fecies as a beauty product)I'm with her on the latter part I confess.

Thanks Sue! Charley (the cat) also dissaproves of Cheena's cleanliness regimen. He is rather fastidious and tries to lick her fur to clean it. It becomes instantly obvious that she feels she is as clean as she intends to be! They get over their little disagreement rather quickly, however, and are soon running up and down the hall playing together again.
