Ya know - I cant see the pics Ive posted on my own blog, nor on yours and some other blogs too!
Its blocked by emirates services here! I would have loved to see the mountains in Kazakhastan! I myself, have a lovely view of the Hajjar mountains of Ras-al-Khaimah from my balcony.

beautiful!! I had one day in Almaty last summer, loved the view and loved to breathe in the air of mountains.

Hi angel-A! If you get back to Almaty in the summer time again, you must come to the dacha. There was never any better air to breathe!

Hi Nicole! So sad you couldn't see the picture. They are beautiful, young, steep mountains with snow on top. Guess you'll just have to come for a visit and see them for yourself!

Hi Julie! Yup, that's our view. Glad you enjoyed it!

The sky looks beautiful so fresh as if the air would be healing, it must be inspiring to have such a lovely veiw. Most of our classrooms look out onto dingy decaying cort yards. There is a wood a short distance from the school though, where I go to write when it's warm enough in my lunch time.

Thanks Sue! This photo was taken on a pretty good day. Sometimes the air is not so clear and nice. My classroom at the University, unfortunately does not have such a glorious view. Your new poem is just wonderful, btw!

Thanks pins! Our mountains are very young and Alpine. We have a long and popular skiing season. Kazakhstan is a pretty nice place. Hope you have a great weekend too!

Beautiful! One of the reasons I choose to stay here to live is our view of the mountains, always in the background, no matter where we go.
