Early buttered web page morning
sun streaming in the window -
screen hard to read
radiating reflected sunlight.
Clichéd gladness washing away
clichéd malaise as I
rise again to dress
in this tent of day,
hoping for once
to step outside
with my head
in the roof of the sky.
Just one line
might change it all!

Some days the sky weighs heavily, as you said just a few words can change it all
Thanks Sue! The only way those some days don't become every day is when that rare day that is different comes along. Thanks for the great comment!
Im having a tribute to Gulnaz and your blog was in her list of friends...spread the word to those who you think were inspired by Gulnaz...Pls visit my blog to know more
I could 'see' you, typing away beside a window with the light enveloping you...
and perhaps there was a crease on your forehead or maybe a smile as you rose satisfied with that..
