No ladno, ne vazhne, eedoo!

My body tossed troubled through the air this week. You land soon enough. It’s important not to land! Piles of paper are on my head, pushing me down. Still God, in his infinite mercy, has held me up to the sky, has made me part of the air, has let sunlight filter through all this impermanence. No matter how tarnished I become, I am allowed to sparkle, turn, changing as a kaleidoscope does, patterns, color, light. I bank into the breeze, I am still in motion.

Russell, your rest has done you well. Great poem!! You have to help me with the title though. I ran out of languages on Babel Fish.

Thanks Pat! Glad you enjoyed this. The title's Russian phonated in latin letters. It is a little slangy and says "OK, its not important, I'm coming" (Titles are not my strongest skill)

Prevyet RD! Fits perfectly, bolshoi spaseeba! How come you know Russian? What other languages do you know?

English.

Studied it in grad school. Foreign language requirement. Someone dared me. And I did.

God and His infinite ways to challenge us so we could be reminded how strong we really are.

Very inspiring, Russell. I needed this. Thank you for this touching piece.

That is your lot in life. You are a teacher. And so, as you give, so shall you receive lessons, then passed on to a higher grade.

I love this!

Da RD! I'm glad you took the dare. Russian is the language I speak most of the time. My neighbors look at me like the RCA dog when I speak to them in other languages, usually.

Hi Gracie! Thanks, glad you enjoyed this. Wow, your cousin lives here? What's her/his name?

Hi Cecilia! Glad this found a spot for you. I'm always glad to be on your I need a hug list. Me too, we need some understanding and support as lonely poet types. Life's tough on the sensitive.
