These are Blini (Central Asian style). They are served my favorite way with vareniya (CA style jam, in this case from apricot trees in front of my dacha) and sour cream. They are hot, buttered and folded in quarters. Posted by Hello

I have to say, that looks delicious - if only I could pick it up off the screen!

They really are wonderful! Crepes without any airs and a bit of the carmelized taste of a great belgian waffle. Next time you're in the neighborhood I'll make them for you hot from the skillet while you sit at the kitchen table (the best way). Got to tell you again how much I loved your last poem! I copied it off on my computer so I could read it over and over!

You open my appetite with this dish, now I have to go downstairs and cook something as good as the dish on your picture.

Gama, I can't wait to hear what you cooked?

Thanks so much for the poem compliment - You've made my day!

I'd love to try Blini - and I'd love to travel to central Asia, too. Maybe that could be the next adventure!
