Yomi is a young student from Nigeria at the Kazak-American University in Almaty. He works part time as an actor doing commercials. The commercial was for a new multi-use building complex of the construction company City-Stroi. These are the mountains that run from Nepal through China into Kazakhstan. Mount everest is part of that chain. They are tall, young mountains -- craigy, steep and beautiful.

That is some interesting black and white images in the photo, very yin/yang,, cool!

I wish you would post one groovy recipe once a week, or is that too much like work in your fun time? I miss good food and good recipes and I know you would have something different to try!

I was actually planning to do that when I change my template. I don't know when I'll do that but hopefully that will be soon. I'll start with a quiche recipe, I think.

The Stretch runs good but I had to add a little oil. Thanks! As to the snow, Siberia's our northern border, take all you want, we won't miss it!

Soo COo! What kind of commercial was it? Did you have fun? Looks like it was!

I have an unfortunate addiction to acting. I always enjoy doing these kind of things so calling it fun is no stretch for me. The shoot was for a new multi-use building the construction building is doing (apartments, shops, resturants, etc.). Is it Anais? Thanks for visiting me!

Yep! It's me! Anais! I love acting too! Having been in front of and behind the camera, I have to say it is addicitve!! I hope they paid you well and had good food to eat -that is one thing I love about acting and working on films/commericals - sometimes (more often than not) the food is AMAZING and the people are great, and the pay? X amount for sitting around waiting to say a few words and getting paid for it?!? Priceless!!

Anais, I'm not really sure what it is about acting, maybe it is just something I need to do! Anyway I enjoy it. Glad you do too!
