It's as hot as Hell here, but yet so cool to just say
Hi

Thanks Nasra! Things are fine, considering I'll be teaching all summer without a break and tomorrow is the first day of the intensive summer sessions! Ah, the life at the university goes on! Thanks for the kind words! Gulnaz is wonderful and I miss her very much!

Thanks Queenie! It is really wonderful to hear from you! I keep checking your blog and I am definately waiting in your welfare line for an artistic stipend to live a little while on. I'm surviving from creation to creation. Thanks for visiting the hopelessly addicted.

Hello Russell, we've had a little too much rain here but hopefully the rest of the season will be nice. Very welcoming entry for the carnival, hope you have a fantastic summer!! Take care,

Bob

Hi Bob, I hope rising waters (aka Flood Waters) aren't causing any trouble out your way. What an awesome and huge disaster the tsunami caused, my heart cried out at that time too. Great to hear from you!

Russell, you can keep the ties, send me some RAIN and cooler temps! Glad you said that!!

Thanks Pat! Hope you had a great 4th. It's cloudy and cool here this morning but by this afternoon my classrooms will be hot and sultry. Air conditioning is becoming an issue for students who don't want to take a nap in class (and lecturers too).

Russell,
I love how delicate and whimsical this is. I hope you'll be sending a link for next week's Carnival (I'll be hosting).
Best,
Ashraf

Thanks Ashraf, I'd be delighted. And thanks for honoring my little poem with your kind and perceptive words!
