Questions

Dizzy sky under your voice -
Could my longing be fulfilled?
The train has been here,
I can see the tracks -
Where has it come from?
The bulldozer changes everything;
I thought I was happy
The bulldozer is a hand
Reaching out -
What is its source?
I am the factor that multiplies minutes
So that it takes so many to make an hour.
I am the mansion of love -
Why don’t I know what room this is?

We all see the tracks and yet none of us can make sense of the carnage we leave-one man's pleasure is surly another's desaster

Spot on Sue! Humans are very strange creatures.

"I am the factor that multiplies minutes, so that it takes so many to make an hour", great line Russell. Love can surely be a confusing state.

Thanks Pat! I think its the perspective of some of us errant lovers that makes the state of love even more confusing than it naturally is. Thanks for the great comment.

These two lines are perfection:

I am the mansion of love -
Why don’t I know what room this is?

Enjoyed, Russell.

Thanks Aurora! The mansion part just came to me as I was trying to figure out how to put the last question in the couplet of this sonnet. Glad you enjoyed it!

The bulldozer changes everything; - A very forceful line. In fact, that is the answer to the question...

...I think.

This is pretty heavy Russell! You are the master of heaviness.
