You are a chef! I always thought you were some academic in the University....do you conduct eveing classes for poetry ? Very interesting and how old are you, if I may ask?

Hi Aurora! I was an Executive Chef for 25 years. I can't remember what was being prepared that day, I was just the judge and we usually shoot 2 to 4 programs on the weekend as I am busy teaching classes Monday through Friday. I remember it was prety tasty though!

Yes plus ultra, I was a chef for many years. I have only been teaching at the university for the last couple or three years. It still feels strange to not be working in a kitchen anymore. I was a famous chef here and so they still ask me to do TV shows.

Like some poets who have gone before me, I am a working man poet. That I have been a writer for some years is probably the reason the university has invited me to teach. I am a lecturer here. I am 61 years old. Thanks for asking.

This is quite amazing Russell!

A cook and a poet - what a nice combination.

One of my favorite chefs is Emeril Lagasse - the 'bam' man.

What kind of foods do you like to cook? In my household we eat a variety of foods - Arabian, American, Mexican, Indian, and Italian.

Thanks m. shahin! You can get the fatboy out of the kitchen but you can't get the kitchen out of the fatboy (I may put that on my desk at the university).

"Bam" is great. Anything that puts passion and magic on the menu is great.

I've got about 25 cuisines in my repetoire.

Hi Sue! Thanks, it took me a long time to earn the tall toque; it would have been a lot easier if the had just told me they wanted me to clean the vents in the first place! On the sausage rolls - I'd say somewhere between cooking and cremating. (Sorry, I couldn't resist that last bit) Thanks for the comment sweet lady!
